Biography

Treb has built his legal career around service—to his country, his community, and his clients. At the McDuff Law Group, his practice focuses on estate planning and probate and estate administration. He works to provide practical guidance, careful preparation, and clear communication at every stage of a matter.

Treb served for more than 22 years on active duty in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps before joining the McDuff Law Group,. He began by drafting wills and advising soldiers deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan, and later served as a military judge, prosecutor, and senior legal advisor, including during his own deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and as general counsel at Fort Jackson. His service gave him extensive experience in trials, investigations, administrative proceedings, and counseling people through consequential decisions.

After retiring from the Army, Treb continued his public service in the federal government before joining the McDuff Law Group. A Clemson graduate, he and his wife now live in the Upstate. He brings the same commitment to service to his clients—listening carefully, explaining their options clearly, and helping them move forward with confidence.
